Students representing various schools participated in the “cultural festival and art exhibition with waste material” organised by the South Central Railway (SCR) as part of the ongoing “Swachhata Hi Seva – 2025” campaign, on Saturday (September 27, 2025). Students from Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, ICON Public School, Jack and Jill English Medium School, Bharat Scouts and Guides showcased performances on themes of “Clean and Green”, “Hygiene”, “Swachhata”, and “Good Habits”. Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Mohit Sonakiya, Additional DRM (Operations) Srinivas Rao Konda and officers of various departments were present. Students also witnessed the Vande Bharat train model, a life-size horse, the iconic Godavari Railway Bridge, Kakinada Carriage, Charkha, Peacock, Cat, and other models showcased by the officers and staff of Diesel Loco Shed (DLS), Vijayawada. They also visited the Wagon Workshop with the scrap material.
