A Glasgow spot named Scotland’s ‘best late night venue’ is to hold a huge bash for its first birthday celebrations this weekend.
Multi-award-winning venue, Berlinkys, on Sauchiehall Street, which was recently crowned Scotland’s best late night venue at the Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards, announced that fans can look forward to three days of fun.
From Friday to Sunday, the team said partygoers can expect a “whirlwind of circus acts, live music, outrageous performances, and unforgettable” moments as Berlinkys marks its first birthday.
Since opening last year, the venue has aimed to become Glasgow’s top destination for big energy, immersive entertainment, with everything from aerial performers and live bands to themed parties to its very own showteam, appearing and helping the it to earn a reputation for creating extraordinary nights out.
In just twelve months, it has gained recognition and several major awards including the New Bar of the Year 2025 at the Scottish Bar & Pub Awards, and Venue of the Year 2025 from OnTrade Magazine.
To celebrate turning one, there will be events across the whole weekend (Friday, October 3 to Sunday, October 5) including:
Friday – a full-throttle night of wild celebrations, circus chaos and “non-stop naughty vibes”, alongside the birthday show from 7 pm. Saturday – The Birthday Spectacular: Circus thrills, jaw-dropping aerial acts, showstopping performances with live bands and all the cake you can eat. Sunday – Berlinkys Got Talent! Think you’ve got what it takes to own the stage? Whether you’re a magician, singer, juggler, dancer, or something totally wild, with a special performance from BGT’s Golden Buzzer Winner, Vinnie McKee, performers on the night will be given the chance to win an all expenses paid trip to Prague. GM at Berlinkys, Gavin Clark, said: “From our very first night, Berlinkys has been about creating energy, spectacle, and memories people talk about for weeks.
“To reach our first birthday is an incredible milestone – and we want to celebrate it the only way we know how: bigger, louder, and wilder than ever before.”
Gavin added that tickets and table bookings are available now, with walk-ins also welcome.
