As a TV-reviewer of over ten years, I’ve seen my fair share of 4K TVs. But few have come close to capturing my attention like Sony’s A95L, an OLED TV that expertly blends high-performance hardware and expert engineering.

When the Sony A95L made its debut, the 65-inch version was priced at $3,499. Today, the 65-inch A95L is just $1,998 at BuyDig. It’s the lowest price I’ve seen for this set since Prime Day earlier this year. Even better, it includes a 4-year extended warranty and a Panasonic WN10 Wearable TV Neck Speaker ($198 total value). The A95L’s perfect black levels are just the tip of the iceberg when talking about this TV’s jaw-dropping performance. Backed by quantum dot-color, the A95K offers better color volume than most garden-variety OLED TVs. As an OLED TV, the A95L packs all of the perks we’ve come to expect from this famously fantastic display technology, like perfect black levels, razor-sharp clarity, ultra-wide viewing angles and a total lack of light bloom, thanks to pixel-level dimming.

But there are two key elements that help make the A95L one of the best OLED TVs you can buy: quantum dot-color and Sony’s superb picture processing.

With quantum dots equipped, the A95L delivers better color volume than typical OLED panels. Behind the scenes, Sony’s renowned picture processing ensures that everything looks as it should — from upscaled content to near-black detail and fast-moving objects.

The A95L is also jam-packed with features for gaming, streaming and more. It’s not flush with HDMI 2.1-compatible inputs like competing OLED TVs from LG and Samsung, but you’re still getting a pair of HDMI 2.1 inputs that support 4K gaming at 120Hz, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and more.
The Sony A95L is a few years old, but its pedigree is one of the reasons it remains on shelves today. However, that pedigree won’t guarantee you a sale price as good as this, so act accordingly.
Right now, the 65-inch A95L is priced similarly at Amazon, but it’s on the verge of going out of stock at the time of publishing. I recommend going with BuyDig, anyway, as the deal appears to come with a free extended warranty and a wearable TV speaker.
