A number of schools two Welsh counties are closed on Wednesday, November 5, due to severe flooding overnight. Parts of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire have been hit badly after heavy downpours on Tuesday, with properties and roads flooded. The severe flooding in Carmarthenshire has led to a number of schools being closed across the county. The schools which have been closed are: In Pembrokeshire, St Aidans Church in Wales VA School has been closed. A post from Bro Dinefwr said: "Due to adverse weather conditions and the dangerous nature of some roads. The difficult decision has been made to close the school on Wednesday." Bro Myddrin said it was closed due to the road to the school being "completely flooded and not passable".
