Children are enjoying the festivities, including Ramlila performances, rides at the fair, and various delicacies. Preparations for Dussehra, including the effigy burning of Ravana, have also begun. Amidst these festivities, schools in various states have been closed. The school holidays have doubled the fun for the children. Festivals truly come alive with the presence of children. Along with religious rituals, they get the opportunity to enjoy various delicacies and play with their friends. In many districts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, and Rajasthan, school holidays for Navratri and Dussehra have already started. Schools in Odisha will remain closed from September 29 to October 2, 2025. This period covers Maha Saptami to Vijaya Dashami.
