Scarlett Moffatt has insisted that she has not lost any weight – despite impressing fans with her slimmed down figure. The former Gogglebox star, 34, appeared on Big Brother : Late and Live on Sunday, where she drew attention for her slimmed down look and received endless compliments from her millions of fans on social media. The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! legend has even received a string of compliments from friends but has no idea where they have come from because she has not been on a diet at all. She told The Mirror : “Honestly I have not lost any weight! This is the mad thing right. Even my friends yesterday text me saying ‘Oh my God, Scarlett, you you look amazing!’ Literally, I am the same size! I don’t know if it’s just because I’m happy, or my cortisol levels are down or I’m not as bloated or…I honestly have no idea! “But I legit am the same! I was getting people coming up to me going ‘Wow you’ve done so well!’ I’m the same! I’m literally the same! I’m dressing a bit different. “Maybe that’s why. But I’ll take the compliment! It’s really unjust, though, I feel like I’m cheating!” During her time in the public eye, the TV star has been open and honest about her body image struggles and she released a controversial weight loss DVD in late 2016 . It was claimed that a host of short workouts had helped her lose three stone, but it later emerged that she actually attended a training bootcamp in secret and embraced a gruelling diet of just 300 calories a day to shed the pounds. With all that behind her, Scarlett, who gave birth to son Jude in June 2023, explained that she just wants to prioritise her health above all these days and no longer puts any ‘pressure’ on herself to be a certain way. She added: “I just think it comes with age I just think at different points of your life, different things are important. Obviously health is so important but I think you just need to make sure that that the priority is health. “I think when you’re younger sometimes you think it’s more important on what size your clothes are whereas now I’ve got a little one to look after I just want to be the healthiest I could be So I can be around for the longest time for him. “The only person who ever puts pressure on things like that is yourself And I just I just look after my mind and body best I can, but I don’t put any pressure on myself.” Scarlett has teamed up with HomeSense to weigh in on #TheGreatCushionDebate, which has found that over half of Brits (79%) admit to quietly readjusting cushions after someone else has arranged them, and nearly a third (29%) admit to removing or hiding a cushion that didn’t suit the aesthetic. She said: “It’s so funny how something as simple as cushions can get people talking. Whether it’s how many you have on your bed, where they go, or even if you ‘chop’ them or not. I think we’ve all had these little home debates, which is why I love that Homesense is helping settle them.
