The Kannagi Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Villianur was given a facelift as part of a recent cleanliness drive led by the State Bank of India (SBI).

The volunteers of the SBI’s Villianur branch spruced up the premises of the school as part of “Swachh Utsav – Swachhata Hi Seva 2025” campaign on the directive of the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance.

The conclusion of the fortnight-long campaign coincided with Gandhi Jayanti celebrations, a press note said.

M. Natarajan, Regional Manager, SBI Regional Business Office in Puducherry; Rajadurai Venkatesan, Branch Manager, SBI Villianur; Kavichudar P. Kumaravel, former Assistant General Manager; S. Mayavan, senior lecturer in economics, Kannagi Girls HSS, and others participated.
