Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has named Dr. Ayo Ogunsan as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), reinforcing the administration's focus on bolstering security infrastructure. The appointment, effective October 31, 2025, for a five-year term, was detailed in a circular issued by the Head of Service, Bode Agoro, on the same date. It underscores the government's dedication to protecting lives and property through enhanced security measures. Ogunsan, a former LSSTF Board Member, has been instrumental in key security initiatives. He chairs the Executive Group, a conglomerate spanning training, administration, project management, and investment. Additionally, he leads the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) in Lagos and serves as Patron of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC). He holds positions on boards including Caleb University's Board of Trustees and the University of Wolverhampton's Board Advisory Council in the UK. An alumnus of Yaba College of Technology and Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, with a degree in Business Administration, Ogunsan has executive certifications from institutions like Lagos Business School, Harvard Business School, Oxford Brookes University, Brunel University, Georgetown University, University of Stellenbosch Business School, University of Houston, and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. He is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD), Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce, Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce, and Nigerian-Spanish Association; an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management; and a fellow and patron of the Institute of Entrepreneurs of Nigeria. His work in public safety, entrepreneurship, and education has garnered multiple local and international honors. The circular instructs all accounting officers in state ministries, departments, and agencies to publicize the appointment widely.
