Sanofi India Limited has appointed Deepak Arora as Managing Director, from October 27, 2025, the company said. The appointment comes about six months after the company announced the stepping down of the previous MD, and will be subject to shareholder and Central Government approval (required since he was an NRI ), the company added. The new MD will define the company’s India strategy in alignment with Sanofi’s global strategy, besides driving priorities to accelerate innovation and agility throughout the organization, among other things, the company said. He will champion the company’s “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion culture,” it added. With over 30 years of experience in pharmaceuticals and healthcare across North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Arora has held leadership positions in commercial, sales and marketing, besides general management roles, acquiring businesses and generating sustainable growth within several multinational companies, the note explained. Aditya Narayan, Sanofi India Chairman, said, Arora’s extensive pharmaceutical experience across diverse geographies aligned with the India vision.
