Sam Thompson confesses he's "terrified" about introducing his new "girlfriend" to Pete Wicks . This follows the former Made in Chelsea personality "hard launching" his relationship with DJ Talitha Balinska on Instagram. Sam posted a clip last week showing himself constructing a Harry Potter Lego set. In the footage, which also includes sister Louise, Sam dons Hogwarts-style robes whilst Talitha sports a Sorting Hat. Followers enthusiastically proclaimed the debut on Sam's Instagram as a "hard launch". Responding to the announcement, Diversity performer Perri Kiely commented: "What an elite hard launch" alongside a laughing emoji. Talitha has already been introduced to Sam's sister Louise and brother-in-law Ryan, plus some of his team at Staying Relevant, the podcast he presents with best mate Pete Wicks. Yet on their show, he disclosed she hasn't encountered Pete yet. Chatting to Pete, he said: "If I ever got to the stage where I would introduce you, I'd be f*****g terrified. If I were to ever have a person of interest, my POI, then I would be so terrified to introduce her to [Staying Relevant producer] Pippa and you." Sam continued: "Because you mean the most to me. If you didn't like someone I was dating, I don't think I'd be able to do it." Pete reassured Sam "it wouldn't matter in the slightest" if he doesn't gel with his partner. He continued: "It's irrelevant unless you move in with them or become something else, it doesn't really matter, just go and enjoy yourself." Sam, who parted ways with former girlfriend Zara McDermott just before Christmas 2024, expressed that he's "happy" and in a "in a good spot". Pete chimed in: "Hopefully the end of the year will makeup for the tough year that you have had." Regarding their "hard launch", Sam humorously remarked that Talitha was "just there" while he was filming the video. He commented: "I didn't think about it. I just thought it was a funny end to a video with a really clearly gorgeous girl. I think she's great." The Sun has reported that Sam and Talitha were seen at the Scalini Restaurant in Chelsea on Friday, just days after his Instagram post. The outlet suggests the pair have been on several dates since meeting at a photoshoot for Sam's Dinelli Eyewear. Sam has previously confessed that he found it difficult following his break up from ex-Love Islander Zara. On his podcast, he shared: "The only thing I'm going to say because it's not fair on the other parties and stuff but it's been a tough month. A real tough month." Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, he further added: "If you've got amazing people around you, which I do, I'm very lucky to have best friends around me and the most amazing family. So many people around me. "I think we've all gone through the kind of year that I've had to be fair... It's a learning curve. You get back and you figure out a lot about yourself as you go through the year."
