ChatGPT has been going through a lot of upgrades and changes that have made the platform better (or maybe not in all senses). Now, according to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, ChatGPT could soon be chatting more than the entire human race on earth. According to a report by Wired, Sam Altman said, ‘If you project our growth forward, pretty soon billions of people a day will be talking to ChatGPT. ChatGPT will be having more conversations, maybe, than all human words put together, at some point. I think it’s unreasonable to expect a single model personality or style to work for all of that.’ Future expectations of OpenAI go far ahead of chatbots, and Altman has revealed that he is planning to spend trillions on data centres for seamless operation of OpenAI. He also said, ‘You should expect a bunch of economists to wring their hands and be like, Oh, this is so crazy, it’s so reckless. And we’ll just be like, You know what? Let us do our thing.’ When asked about where will he get the investment for a trillion from, Altman replied, ‘I suspect we can design a very interesting new kind of financial instrument for financing computing that the world has not yet figured out.’ A Little More About OpenAI OpenAI is currently valued at $300 billion, and the organization raised $40 billion pretty recently to skyrocket the operations of artificial general intelligence. Rumours have it that the upcoming stock sale of OpenAI could push the valuation of the company to a whopping $500 billion.
