Ghanaian actor Abrahama Davis, popularly known as Salinko, has opened up about his transition from filmmaking into business.

The seasoned Kumawood star, who has featured in several Ghanaian classics, including The Max, talked about the wealth he has accrued from business in a recent interview with ZionFelix.

“I am behind the 27th instant chocolate brand. I sell raw gari. My brother was mocking me the other time for that, but it’s a good business. I also sell palm oil,” Salinko noted.

The seasoned Kumawood actor said he used to own a sachet water business, but was forced to put it on hold, saying

“I used to sell about ten thousand bags of sachet water, but the increasing cost of transportation has made me shelve it.”

According to Salinko, his stardom in the industry gave him significant leverage for his business success.

When asked whether he would return to filmmaking, Salinko established that he was currently immersed in his businesses and rarely gets time for the craft that many have come to love him for.

However, he noted that he plans to maintain a healthy balance between his acting passion and business activities.

Salinko talks about his cars

During his recent interview with ZionFelix, Salinko addressed speculations about the number and types of cars he owns.

Recently, Salinko was spotted driving a sleek BMW M8 Competition. At Dada KD’s funeral at the forecourt of the State House on September 20, Salinko arrived in a Ford Raptor.

When asked about the luxury vehicles, Salinko denied owning them. He claimed that the cars were from a relative who is a car dealer.

The renowned actor also clarified reports about the cars he has given out as gifts.

In August this year, Salinko handed out a white Range Rover to a Methodist Church priest. He said the gesture was to appreciate his new wife’s spiritual leader.

“I have that heart. I just felt like doing that for the pastor the first day I met him. So after driving the car for about a month, I told my wife to go and give the car to him.” Salinko said.

The actor said he loved to give based on God’s guidance and has given out several cars as gifts so far.
