Looks like the sparks between Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda aren’t just on screen! The Saiyaara duo, who won hearts with their sizzling chemistry in the film, are reportedly dating in real life too. But here’s the twist – they’ve been asked to keep their love story under wraps for now. Sources suggest that the pair’s real-life connection blossomed during the film’s shooting.
Off-screen romance blossoms
According to a report by Deccan Chronicle, a source close to producer Aditya Chopra said, “Theirs is one of the most beautiful love stories in the entertainment industry. It happened organically while they were shooting together for Saiyaara. She was innocent and vulnerable. He looked after her during the shooting. They drew close as they worked. Eventually, friendship turned into a deep love. Aneet and Ahaan are in a committed relationship.”
Despite their close bond, the producer is reportedly advising the actors to keep their relationship under wraps. The source added that Chopra feels it is too early in their careers to publicly declare themselves as a couple, as it could affect their popularity.
Saiyaara’s success
Saiyaara is a musical romantic drama directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film is loosely inspired by the 2004 Korean movie A Moment to Remember and stars newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in the lead roles.
Released theatrically on July 18, 2025, Saiyaara received positive reviews from critics, who praised Panday and Padda’s performances, Suri’s direction, the story, and the soundtrack. The film became a major commercial success, grossing over Rs 577 crore worldwide. It went on to become the second highest-grossing Hindi film and the second highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, while also emerging as the highest-grossing Indian romantic film of the year. The film is also receiving praise on OTT platforms.
Future projects
Both actors have signed a three-film deal with Aditya Chopra, who introduced them to audiences through Saiyaara.
