A RUSSIAN submarine capable of carrying nuclear weapons has reportedly suffered an accident and is said to be at risk of explosion.
Fuel is said to be leaking from Moscow’s Kilo-class submarine Novorossiysk after an alleged technical accident in the Mediterranean.
The submarine was reportedly spotted surfaced in the Strait of Gibraltar yesterday.
Russian Telegram channel VChK-OGPU reported that the vessel is suffering a leakage of fuel into the hold, creating an “explosive hazard”
The crew may have no choice but to pump out the hold directly into the sea, it was alleged.
