And Martin has credit in the bank at the club following an eight-year spell with the club that saw him earn promotion to the Premier League. But, approaches to the 39-year-old may be also be made more difficult due to his pay-off from the Scottish giants. Unless Martin received a lump sum on the termination of his employment, it is usual that he is being paid on a month-by-month basis, further complicating a potential return.
