Rusk Media raises Rs 103 Cr in series B to expand global footprint

Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha-focused entertainment company has raised around Rs 103 crore ($12.3 million) in its Series B funding round, comprising both primary and secondary transactions.

The round was led by IvyCap Ventures, with participation from LC Nueva, InfoEdge Ventures, Woori Venture Partners, and Rusk’s promoters and family offices.

The company plans to use the funds to expand its content IPs and formats internationally, targeting audiences in the US, Europe, and EMEA regions. Founded with a focus on creating digital-first entertainment for younger audiences, Rusk Media operates as a full-stack content company, handling ideation, production, distribution, and monetisation. Its content spans original web series, unscripted formats, micro-dramas, and live events, supported by AI-enabled workflows and data-driven production systems.

Since its inception, Rusk has produced over 50 seasons across 20+ titles, owning most of the intellectual property.
In scripted content, Rusk Studios has produced shows such as School Friends (5M+ views; Ormax #3), Couple Goals, Heartbeats, Dude, Date with Senior, Delhi vs Mumbai, and Roomies (3 seasons).

The company distributes its content across 40+ social media channels on platforms including YouTube, Meta, and Snapchat, and through its B2B tech platform Rumble and B2C app Alright. Combined, these channels generate close to 1 billion monthly views.
