Changes in LPG Prices

Several Changes Possible in Rail Ticket Booking
With the beginning of October, the Railways is also set to amend several of its regulations. Recently, the Railways took a major decision to curb fraudulent transactions in rail tickets. Under the new rule, effective October 1, 2025, only those with Aadhaar verification will be able to book tickets online within the first 15 minutes of reservations opening next month. This rule will apply to booking tickets through both the app and IRCTC. Currently this facility is applicable only on Tatkal booking.
Changes will also be made to pension-related rules.
With the start of the new month, NPS, UPS, Atal Pension Yojana, and NPS Lite are being implemented. The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority has revised the fees charged by the CRA. This change will come into effect from October 1st. Following the implementation of the new rule, government employees will now be charged ₹18 for the e-PRAN kit for opening a new PRAN, and the fee structure has been simplified for NPS Lite subscribers.
Changes will also be made to UPI-related payments.
Major changes are also afoot for Unified Payment Interface (UPI) users from October 1st. With the start of the new month, peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions may be removed. This UPI feature is highly popular among users. This feature is being removed from UPI platforms like PhonePe, Google Pay, and Paytm to strengthen user security and prevent financial fraud.
