The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) aims to fill 1,03,769 vacant Group D posts in the Indian Railways. Over 10.8 million candidates have applied for these positions. The recruitment process will take place between November 17 and December 31, 2025, and will be conducted in three stages: a Computer Based Test (CBT), a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Document Verification (DV). (Image: Canva/File) The City Intimation Slips will be issued approximately 10 days before the exam date, containing information about the exam date, city, and shift to help candidates make travel plans. The admit cards will be issued four days before the exam date, containing details such as the name and address of the exam centre, a photo of the candidate, and necessary instructions. Candidates can download their admit card from the regional RRB website using their registration number and date of birth. (File Photo) The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwD candidates). Candidates who qualify in the RRB Group D CBT exam will be called for the next stage, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), based on their merit. The PET is qualifying in nature, meaning its marks will not be counted in the final merit list, but passing it is mandatory. After passing PET, candidates will be called for document verification, and the final merit list will be prepared based on CBT marks and the Physical Efficiency Test marks. (File Photo)
