River Parishes Community College has named Sarina Lirette as vice president of the Louisiana Association for Public, Community and Adult Education. With eight years of experience in adult education, Lirette has been instrumental in expanding access to literacy, high school equivalency and workforce preparation programs across the River Parishes region, a news release said. "Under her leadership, RPCC’s Adult Education program has grown in both reach and impact — empowering adult learners to achieve their educational and career goals through personalized instruction, innovative partnerships and student-centered support," the release added. “Sarina’s leadership and advocacy continue to elevate adult education across Louisiana,” said Quintin Taylor, chancellor of River Parishes Community College. “Her dedication to empowering students and advancing workforce pathways embodies the mission and values of RPCC. We are incredibly proud of this well-deserved recognition.” As vice president of LAPCAE, Lirette will play a key role in promoting statewide collaboration, professional development, and policy advancement to strengthen adult education programs throughout Louisiana.
