The Sports Journalists’ Association named Rory McIlroy the Sportsman of the Year at the 77th SJA British Sports Awards. This is his second victory, which came after an 11-year wait since his first triumph. The recognition comes after an extraordinary 2025 campaign. He completed the career Grand Slam with a dramatic victory at the U.S. Masters and then helped the European team win at the 2025 Ryder Cup.
