Roller-skating makes a comeback in North Adams with a new community club

NORTH ADAMS — As a kid, Jennifer Lemieux hosted countless birthday parties at Roller Magic, a popular roller-skating rink in Williamstown that opened in 1982 and closed in 1995. Since then, Lemieux, 47, has kept skating, moved to California, hosted her moving-back-to-Massachusetts party at a roller rink, met other local skaters during the pandemic — but no rink returned to Northern Berkshire.
