If you thought Robert Irwin couldn’t get any more charming, think again. The beloved Aussie wildlife conservationist (and son of the late Steve Irwin) just shared what might be his funniest (and most unexpected!) TikTok yet. In the now-viral clip, Robert traded his signature khakis for cowboy vibes, trying out his best American/Southern accent — and fans are in love. The short video, captioned “Getting in touch with my American side… howdy!”, shows Robert channeling his inner cowboy with full commitment, including a hat and a twang that fans won’t soon forget Robert’s Southern Transformation The clip opens with Robert tipping his cowboy hat and greeting his Dancing With the Stars partner Witney Carson. “Hey Witney,” he says with a grin. “Howdy. What do you think? What do you reckon? Yeah? Howdy Ma’am.” From there, the scene only gets funnier. Robert lowers his head, wiggles his fingers like an old Western gunslinger, and growls, “I don’t know if this town is big enough for the both of us.” He even throws in a mock finger-gun showdown, complete with blowing imaginary smoke off his finger. The camera pans to Witney, who’s already giggling, clearly delighted by her partner’s impromptu performance. Then it cuts back to Robert, who dives deeper into character, muttering in an exaggerated deep drawl, “Barbeque. Bald eagles. Fries. Honky tonks.” Witney quickly plays along, adding, “Strawberry days,” before asking, “Robert, have you had strawberries and cream? HONKEY TONKS!!!” one person wrote, adding that they were “both proud and cackling” at what Robert apparently thinks of as the ultimate Southern vibe. Another fan said, “Please sing ‘Baby lock them doors and turn the lights down low’ with your deep voice,” while someone else couldn’t get over how low his voice went during the bit. “HIS VOICE GOES SO LOW WHEN HE’S DOING HIS ACCENT!!!” they exclaimed. Others were completely charmed by Robert’s take on a Western gentleman. “I love that his cowboy is so polite,” one viewer noted. “‘I don’t know if this town’s big enough for the both of us,’ not ‘ain’t.’ Girlie has to think about it — he don’t wanna exclude anyone.” Another added, “Western Robert is something I didn’t know I needed. Thank you, Robert.” And of course, another fan simply declared, “The ‘howdy ma’am’ did something to me idk.”
