Ridge School project selected for CBSE national science exhibition

The innovative science project “Brainy Bag” of Ridge School, Kurnool, was selected for the CBSE National Level Science Exhibition after showcasing exceptional creativity at the Regional Level Exhibition held in Visakhapatnam. The Brainy Bag project aims to reduce physical deformities caused by heavy school bags and to alert students when their posture while carrying the bag is incorrect. Integrating technology with comfort, this smart bag uses sensors to monitor the posture of the student and provides alerts, helping to prevent shoulder, neck, and back strain. The project was designed and presented by S. Charitha and G. Tanvisree of Grade VIII. Their mentors Seetha Mahalakshmi, Mahalakshmi, Hari Krishna, and Sulthan Basha guided the students throughout the project, nurturing their ideas and refining their technical execution. CEO Gopinath Guduri, Co-CEO Sowmya Gopinath, dean P.K. Rajendran, and principal Rajkamal Matthews appreciated the students and staff for their achievement. They praised their innovative thinking and scientific curiosity, stating that such accomplishments strengthen Ridge School’s mission of fostering creativity, research, and experiential learning among young minds.
