Riddhima Kapoor Tells Daughter ‘Looks Like You Are Angry’, Clarifies ‘Pushing’ Neetu Kapoor Video

Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has opened up about her 14-year-old daughter, Samara, allegedly pushing Nani Neetu Kapoor in one of the viral clips. Recently, Farah Khan visited Riddhima’s residence in Mumbai when she asked Samara about the viral clip. However, before she could respond, her mother, Riddhima, quickly jumped into her defence.
Riddhima claimed that even though it appears that her daughter was angry, it is usually how she likes to pose and give the ‘blue steel look’. “Samara ka kya hai na, ki, ‘Mein agar camera mein dekhungi, toh I am just going to give like a blue steel look.’ So, I told her that it looks like you are angry,” she said.
This is not the first time that Riddhima has opened up about her daughter’s viral video. Previously too, she spoke to Hindustan Times and claimed that the video was taken out of context.
“The whole thing got blown out of proportion. The poor child was only trying to pose. She wasn’t upset. She was very excited, so much so that in the car she kept saying that, ‘Oh my God, I’m sure there are gonna be photographers and I’m gonna pose like this and that’. And because the paparazzi were asking us to come together, she just wanted to pose on her own. She didn’t push her nani. She was like ‘when did I push her? I was trying to pose myself. I was just trying to extend my arm and get comfortable. I was posing. I never pushed anyone,” Riddhima had said.
What Happened In The Viral Video?
Earlier this year, Samara was seen attending an event in Mumbai with her mother, Riddhima, and nani, Neetu Kapoor. As she arrived at the event, she was seen posing for the paparazzi with her mother. However, when Neetu Kapoor joined them, Samara’s expression changed and netizens argued that she also allegedly pushed the veteran actress.

Reportedly, Samara Sahni has also decided to make a career in films, just like the maternal side of her family. Currently, she is completing her education.
