Business mogul and philanthropist Richard Nii Armah Quaye is set to officially launch the Scale Up Fund, a groundbreaking initiative designed to provide equity funding and business growth support to Ghanaian entrepreneurs. The much-anticipated launch will take place this Wednesday, October 29, at the UPSA Auditorium, beginning at 8:30 a.m. According to Mr. Quaye, the Scale Up Fund aims to help entrepreneurs expand their businesses and reach new heights of growth and sustainability. The fund will offer financial backing, mentorship, and strategic guidance to businesses that demonstrate innovation and potential for scalability. “A few months ago, I announced the launch of the Scale Up Fund to support entrepreneurs to elevate their business or grow it to a much bigger level than they currently find themselves,” Mr. Quaye said in a video message ahead of the launch. “Many entrepreneurs have already applied and been duly invited, but it’s not too late for others who still need support or equity funding. You can still apply and join us this Wednesday.” The event will bring together business leaders, investors, and young entrepreneurs for a morning of networking, knowledge sharing, and inspiration. Mr. Quaye and his team will be present to officially unveil the initiative and outline how the fund will operate. The Scale Up Fund is expected to provide a significant boost to Ghana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to overcome financial barriers and achieve sustainable growth.
