Review: Get up and running with the UREVO Strol 2S Pro

I've been a regular runner ever since the pandemic, but I am well aware that, living in the countryside, I am very lucky. I have plenty of glorious green around me where I can go jogging. Many others aren't as fortunate, either because they simply don't have the time or their surrounding environment doesn't really encourage them to lace up their trainers and get out there. Of course, you can always shell out and join the gym. But they're not cheap. Another option is to take the plunge and buy your own treadmill. My partner had one years ago, and what I could have told you is they're heavy, bulky and incredibly noisy, That was then, but this is now. I tried out the UREVO Strol 2S Pro, which looks sleek and is very easy to set up. More importantly, it's also very easy to store away when not in use. It's a two-in-one device, allowing you to walk or run, and the treadmill even offers a maximum 9% incline for an extra challenge. Inclines can make things unstable, but UREVO seems to have solved this issue, and I couldn't detect any alarming shuddering. You get a pretty spacious running area, plus a handrail that features an LED display showing speed, incline, and time. I loved the anti-slip holder, which allows you to use devices or watch videos while exercising. When the handlebar is upright, you can use the magnetic safety key, a 2.25-foot cord, with a clip on one end for attaching to your clothing, and a magnet on the other end designed to connect securely to the center of the handlebar, just beneath the display. When activated, the treadmill automatically reduces its speed to zero. The Strol 2S Pro also works fine with the handlebar down, meaning it can fit under a standing desk. It comes with a remote, Bluetooth/app support, 'World Tour' mode (simulated outdoor paths with automatic incline/speed adjustments), and workout data tracking. The treadmill is a lot quieter than the one I shared my home with back in the day. Top speed is just 4mph for walking, and 7.6mph for jogging. This might be down in part to the advanced eight-point shock absorption system, which minimises impact on joints as well. The Strol 2S Pro integrates seamlessly with the UREVO SmartCoach App, which provides real-time tracking of key metrics, including calories burned, speed, and incline level. The app features four tailored workout modes: fat-burning, endurance, cardio, and recovery, and gives users access to free challenges and resources, all without subscription fees (hooray!) Overall, I’d give the Strol 2S Pro a big thumbs-up. The design is brilliant and would still be doable even in the pokiest of homes. The incline is a great added extra, and the design is very clever (it also features little wheels, allowing for easier movement when folded up). If you're looking for a smart, compact walking or incline treadmill for home use, then it's an excellent choice. The UREVO Strol 25 Pro Home Treadmill is available to buy from Amazon UK for £449.99. What users say "The treadmill feels well built and very sturdy during a workout with very little noise from the motor. The folding design is great because I can fold it down and stand it up against a wall to save space." "I enjoy how compact this unit is to tuck away under a bed, its versatility to manually adjust incline and bounce between running mode and walking mode, and the quality. My only complaint is that it’s small footprint makes running at higher speeds less safe."
