Newly surfaced 911 audio reveals that late Limp Bizkit bassist Sam Rivers was found face down in a pool of blood in the bathroom of his Florida home, TMZ reported Thursday. A deputy with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Department said a female caller named Keely found his body and called 911, according to an incident report viewed by TMZ. The caller was desperately asking dispatchers for help in the chilling audio recording obtained by TMZ, as she described the bloody scene. The emotional recording captured her efforts to revive the famous musician, who sadly passed away October 18 at the age of 48. The dispatcher told Keely to put their call on speaker phone and begin chest compressions, asking her to say the word “now” each time she pushed down on Rivers’ chest, according to the recording obtained by TMZ. The deputy reportedly said officers performed CPR on Rivers until St. Johns County Fire Rescue arrived and ultimately pronounced him dead on scene. Rivers appeared to have a cut over his eye, which may have been the result of a fall from the toilet, according to TMZ. The incident report described Rivers’ face as dark blue, while the rest of his body looked flushed, and noted these to be the common effects of pulmonary embolism, according to TMZ. The deputy reportedly claimed to have found a small amount of coagulated blood in the bathroom where he died. Keely told deputies Rivers had a liver transplant in 2018 and was taking several medications for his liver and other health-related issues, according to TMZ.
