Advertisement - SARGODHA, Oct 26 (APP): Commissioner Sargodha Jahanzeb Awan on Sunday chaired a follow-up meeting regarding the renovation of Narwari Garden Khushab. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Khushab Farwa Aamir, Director Development Bilal Hassan, Deputy Director Technical Rana Shahid, Deputy Director Development Khushab Sohail Ranjha District Forest Officer and other concerned officers. The meeting was briefed that most of the construction and renovation work had been completed in Narwari Garden. The renovation of the park path, installation of lights, grass and tree plantation were almost complete, while benches and other decorative arrangements were also being made for public convenience. The Commissioner directed that Narwari Garden be activated as a complete recreational and green space for the public as soon as possible. He said the historic garden established in 1928 had the cultural identity of Khushab city, while maintaining its original beauty and historical importance, it should be made a place providing a pleasant environment for citizens. He added that along with the restoration of connecting road, better arrangements for cleanliness and security should also be ensured around the garden so that public could get better facilities.
