Reinvintage Warehouse opens new location in Spartanburg SC

SPARTANBURG — Mitzi Morris has a knack for making artsy kitchenware, which is something you can find on sale at the Reinvintage Warehouse.
The warehouse is where more than 30 vendors — mostly from Spartanburg County — sell their wares. Founded in 2014, it’s become a vendor and customer favorite. For the past nine years, it’s operated on Union Street near the Mary Black Foundation Rail Trail.
Now, the business has two locations after a new shop was opened at Drayton Mills Marketplace.
The new marketplace space is expected to bring more business than the soon-to-be-defunct store location on Union Street, which closes in December.
Drayton Mills Marketplace is already a destination for shoppers with businesses including Pi-Squared Pizza, Dray Bar & Grill, Burn Boot Camp of Spartanburg and Bareknuckle Barbershop. It’s only a short walk away from Drayton Mill Lofts.
Reinvintage Warehouse held its grand opening at the new location Sept. 26.
“We are going to be selling the same merchandise and all the tenants are with us from Union Street,” said Danielle Kaminski, Reinvintage Warehouse co-owner. “Our new location is going to expand visibility for our current vendors.”
Morris said she’s excited about the changes.
She’s been a vendor at the warehouse for the past nine years and believes the new location benefits everyone. Still, she’s going to miss the old spot.
“The relocation will take some time getting used to,” Morris said. “We had been at the old warehouse for a long time.”
A few years back, Morris met Lori Johnson, another vendor who sells upcycled clothing. The pair decided to go into business together. It’s been a perfect match with them running the upcycled clothing business Revive together.
Johnson also sells jewelry that she makes. She started her Crazy Good jewelry business in 2015.
“I think the new location gives us a different customer base and we are in a more upscale environment,” Johnson said. “The new location keeps the creative, artsy vibe.”
Ashlee Gibbs, another vendor, said the new location will likely be more appealing for customers.
She runs Showoffs Kids Boutique. The new shop has a main floor with rooms adjacent to it. Her boutique is located in one of the rooms off the main floor.
“I think the location is going to bring us a lot more foot traffic, and it gives people a fresh new vibe,” Gibbs said.
Mandy Turner, who’s been a Reinvintage Warehouse co-owner since 2024, agrees. She is eager to continue to grow the business.
“The brand has been built over the years,” Turner said. “We have been around for 11 years and been on Union Street since 2016. Our business has a huge social media following and moving here will hopefully build even more social media traffic for us.”
Kaminski said she expects items at the new location to sell faster because the warehouse works jointly with vendors to better merchandise their goods. With a smaller store footprint than the existing location, Kaminski expects it to be an advantage for the store.
“We expect to turn over product more often and for merchandizers to bring new product to the store to restock every week,” she said. “The new location allows for things to be more visible and shine better.”
Reinvintage Warehouse’s locations are at 1201-B Union St., Spartanburg and 1802 Drayton Road, Suite 140A, Drayton. The location on Union Street will close at the end of 2025.
