Luckily, renowned outdoors brand Regatta is running a sale worth taking advantage of, with one particular high-tech item being rather suitable for this time of year – and it comes with a massive 70 percent price cut. The firm’s Women’s Volta Parka is waterproof, windproof and insulated, making it perfect for keeping warm when out walking the dog, on early morning commutes and on those brisk outdoor walks. One of the niftiest features has to be the addition of heated technology that can be powered using a 5V USB power bank, offering that much needed extra warmth when the temperatures drop seriously low. It’s finished with a faux-fur trim hood that is completely adjustable, alongside a two-way centre front zip. It’s also machine washable, making it easy to care for. Regatta’s Volta Parka can be bought in sizes eight to 18, with the price reduction across five colours – red, slate blue, black, burnt copper and dark forest green. Meanwhile, M&S’ innovative Thermowarmth range has been designed specifically for the colder season, with the £46 Hooded Puffer Jacket featuring cosy insulation and a waterproof finish. As for Regatta’s Volta Parka , it has seriously impressed multiple shoppers , with a 4.3 rating based on reviews that say it is “totally waterproof” and “brilliant on cold days.” One delighted shopper wrote: “I love this coat! When I read the reviews I was hesitant. But its now my favourite coat! It’s waterproof, retains heat and it is heated. Can’t ask for more than that!” A second positive review read: “Great coat. Lovely colour. Size down. Bought the heated battery pack but not tried it yet but so far coat is toastie. “Love the deep pockets and how you can put your things in one pocket and hands in the others.
