Red Land, the 13th seed in District 3 Class 2A field hockey, scored five goals in the second quarter to open up a 6-0 halftime lead en route to a 7-1 victory over fourth-seeded Manheim Central Tuesday night. Izzy Hockenberry and Danica Hobart both notched hat tricks for the Patriots. Hockenberry and Hobart had two goals each in the second quarter uprising. Delaney Fink scored the other Red Land goal, also in the second quarter. Red Land outshot Manheim Central by a 14-2 margin. Red Land improves to 11-8 on the season and will travel to Keystone Division foe Northern Saturday at 2 p.m. in a quarterfinal contest. Manheim Central ends its season with a 14-5 record.
