But where do you begin when things feel overwhelming? And how do you keep order once it’s achieved? Ann Teehan, professional organiser and founder of Neatly.ie joins me on this week’s episode of The Real Health podcast. The organiser advises setting up drop zones. She explains, “Setting up drop zones is important. For example, if the kitchen counter is full of clutter, get a round tray and put all the objects in it so, everything that would have gone all over the place goes into the tray and it's all contained there.” The founder of Neatly.ie talked about starting small. She says, “ Break it down into small bite size sections. Because if you want to declutter your wardrobe, there's going to be way more clothes there than you thought. It's going to get overwhelming. Whereas if you do small bits, it keeps you motivated. It's going to take longer, but you will get there if you do it in small little bits.” You can listen to the full episode below or wherever you get your podcasts.
