Taking to social media, Rasha shared a series of unseen throwback pictures featuring her and her mother through the years, calling Raveena the “original trendsetter.” Taking to her Instagram handle, Rasha Thadani shared old photos of her mother Raveena, along with her childhood. “Happy birthday to the icon that is my mama — timeless, fearless, radiant. The original trendsetter- beauty, wit, and strength. My hero!! no one like you,” read the caption. Fans immediately reacted. She recalled, “You know, it’s very surreal because honestly we didn’t expect it. We did know that she had the keeda since childhood. I used to ask her, ‘so what do you want to become?’ First her thing was, ‘I want to become Ariana Grande.’ Then from Ariana Grande it became, ‘I want to become a rockstar.’ Then from a rockstar it became, ‘you know what mom, I think I want to act.’ I was like, ‘oh, okay, we didn’t know.’ It was very sweet.” Mother-Daughter Collaboration In another exciting revelation, Raveena shared that she and Rasha recently shot their first project together—an advertisement for a jewellery brand. The collaboration, Raveena admitted, felt surreal, considering her daughter had once only dreamed of pop stardom. On the film front, Rasha is now gearing up for her next release opposite Munjya star Abhay Verma in Saurabh Gupta’s upcoming romantic action drama Laikey Laikaa. With her star-making debut, growing popularity, and now her mother’s wholehearted endorsement, Rasha Thadani seems well on her way to building a legacy of her own.
