Rapper Young Bleed has died of a brain aneurysm. The musician's son Ty'Gee Ramon announced the sad news on Instagram, revealing that he'd never dealt with "real health issues" but had high blood pressure took medicine. Young Bleed, real name Glenn Clifton Jr, was rushed to hospital just days after performing at Cash Money Verzuz No Limit at ComplexCon last month. Tameka Long, the mother of his 10-year-old son, reportedly told TMZ that he had a high blood pressure and a heart condition. He was taken to the ICU and put on a ventilator due to a brain aneurysm, caused by internal bleeding. Glenn's mother said that the incident was completely unexpected and set up a GoFundMe page for the rapper before his untimely death. The description reads: "Hi family and friends, I'm starting this account for my son Glenn, also known as Young Bleed, who is currently in the ICU after suffering a brain bleed caused by an aneurysm." "This was completely unexpected and has turned our world upside down. Glenn is receiving critical care and fighting hard, but the road to recovery is uncertain. The medical bills, hospital stays has become overwhelming." "Our family is doing everything we can, but we need your help in anyway possible for medical expenses, and essential support during this difficult time. Every donation, no matter how small will go directly towards Glenn's expenses." Young Bleed was best known for his song How Ya Do Dat with Master P and for establishing Baton Rouge's hip-hop scene throughout the 90s.
