SOUTH AFRICA – Rapper Nadia Nakai has become the latest South African celebrity to enhance her body, as she recently went under the knife to get a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).
Nakai, whose real name is Nadia Kandava, joins other Mzansi celebrities such as Mpumi “Mrs Mops” Mophatlane, Cyan Boujee, Eva Modika, Gogo Manzini, and Shamiso Mosaka who have been open about their cosmetic procedures.
The reality TV star revealed on her show, Beyond Bragga on BET Africa, that she went under the knife and got a BBL and arm liposuction.
“I got my body done. I got a skinny BBL, but it’s not a BBL, its body sculpting. I just did a nip and tuck to get a nice little butt,” she said.
Nakai revealed that she had initially thought of having the surgery in Turkey, but instead settled for South Africa.
“Cuddles took me there, and then the nurse brought me back and stayed with me for four days to make sure I’m fine,” she said.
Nakai revealed that she had decided to keep the procedure a secret from her parents, especially her mother, as she did not want to worry her loved ones.
“I did not want to tell her because I honestly did not want to worry her. I’m not trying to stress my family out over trivial and vain things. I’d rather talk to them about going to the hospital for a serious thing,” she said.
