Anees Bazmee does not only have No Entry Mein Entry. While he is still working on the cast of this movie, the filmmaker also has another project in his hands, which is tentatively titled Ram Aur Shyam. While one might think that Bazmee’s Ram Aur Shyam would be a remake of Dilip Kumar’s 1967 classic, it is not the case. An insider has now revealed that Anees Bazmee’s version of this movie would be “different”. “Anees sir has been toying with this concept for a while. The idea is not to remake the classic, but to reinterpret the twin theme for a new generation,” a source told Mid-Day. Not just this, Basmee has reportedly shortlisted three actors for the lead in his movie – Kartik Aaryan, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. However, he has not finalised a name as of now. “All three actors have a packed schedule. Ranveer starts ‘Don 3’ in January, Kartik has ‘Naagzilla’. After Ranbir wraps up ‘Love & War’, he will dive into ‘Dhoom 4’ prep. The other actor on Anees sir’s mind is Shahid Kapoor. If the dates work out, the film could start by February-end,” the source added. If Kartik Aaryan leads Ram Aur Shyam, it will be his third collaboration with Anees Bazmee after the second and third instalments of Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
