While the Los Angeles Rams dominated the Tennessee Titans 33-19, not everything from Sunday’s game was good news.More NFL: Bears QB Caleb Williams’ Latest Comments Provide More FrustrationAccording to a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, veteran cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon has been placed on injured reserve.”Rams placed CB Ahkello Witherspoon on injured reserve due to a broken clavicle,” Schefter said on social media.This is a huge blow for the Rams, who have been one of the best defenses so far in the 2025 NFL Season.Witherspoon has been a major reason for the Rams success since he joined the team in the 2023 NFL Season.In his debut season with Los Angeles, Witherspoon recorded 52 combined tackles (three for loss), 14 passes defended, three interceptions, and two fumble recoveries across 17 games, all of which he started.While he didn’t remain a consistent starter heading into 2024, he was still an integral part of the team, making a clutch interception against the Arizona Cardinals that sealed the Rams’ trip to the NFL Playoffs.Needless to say, Los Angeles will miss Witherspoon in the secondary when they face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3.
