Ralph Scott Set For Abu Dhabi Showcase

Bermudian basketball player Ralph Scott will demonstrate his potential at the inaugural NBA Academy Showcase in Abu Dhabi in a series of exhibition games.

Scott, who will play in front of NCAA and NBA coaches and scouts, will represent the IMG Academy Ascender from the United States.

The 6ft 8in wing/power forward has had several offers from Division I universities and has completed official visits to the University of Houston, Texas A&M University, University of Tennessee and Purdue University.

Scott, a former Warwick Academy student, was selected as a Player to Watch in a tournament preview article on www.nba.com.

“IMG Academy Ascender Elite four-star prospect Ralph Scott, a 6’8” forward from Bermuda, was virtually unknown on the national stage just a few months ago,” the article read.

“After winning MVP at BWB Americas in early June and performing well at the NBA Academy Games in July, his recruitment has accelerated tremendously.

“Now regarded as one of the fastest-rising prospects in the class of 2026, Scott has seen his basketball trajectory shift significantly.

“hopes to showcase his versatility and rim-attacking ability on the global stage in front of college and NBA personnel in Abu Dhabi.”

The tournament runs from September 25 to 27.
