Mumbai: Actor Rajat Bedi returned to the screen as Jaraj Saxena in Aryan Khan’s show ‘The Bads of Bollywood’**, but at the Mumbai premiere, all eyes were on his daughter Vera Bedi, who made her red carpet debut alongside her father. Social media erupted with praise for Vera, drawing comparisons to Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor.

“She is just overwhelmed… because that attention is not just from India, but global… People are calling from America, Canada, London, Dubai, everywhere. She is so simple, and she has never been exposed to anything like this. This is the first time in her life that she has gone to a red carpet event with her father.”

Having grown up in the film industry himself, Rajat is aware of the pressures of public attention. When asked if he had advised his children on handling fame, he said:
“No, I have not yet spoken to them about how to deal with it. But they know they have to be humble, respectful with any and everyone. You’ll never see my children have any attitude or anything with anyone… That being said, this is all so new to them and they are also overwhelmed.”

Both Vera and her brother Vivaan Bedi are reportedly considering careers in the entertainment industry. Vivaan has already spent over two years assisting Aryan Khan on ‘The Ba**ds of Bollywood’.
Rajat shared:
“When we talk about my son, planning is going on to launch him right now. So, God willing, you’ll see something on that soon.”
Regarding Vera’s future in acting, he added:
“She is thinking about it. She never did, but now she is.”
