All my grief has vanished today,” he said, adding that he wished every person’s poverty would end someday. He revealed that he plans to give ₹50 lakh each to the two daughters of the friend who had lent him the money to buy the tickets. “I have lost my mother, so I understand the pain of daughters,” he shared. The rest of the amount, he said, will go toward his children’s education and building a home for his family. Sehra, who struggled to make ends meet selling vegetables, told ANI that he could not even afford to travel to Chandigarh initially to complete the formalities for claiming his prize. “It is God’s blessing that he gave me ‘chhappar phad ke’,” he said emotionally.
