Fried chicken fans in the District will soon have another spot to get their fix.
Fast food chain Raising Cane’s, known for their chicken fingers and famous dipping sauce, announced its second Washington, D.C., location will open Monday, Oct. 21, in Penn Quarter at 722 7th Street, Northwest, just steps from Capital One Arena.
The grand opening is set to have a pep-rally style celebration with music, giveaways, and Cane’s signature fanfare. 20 lucky customers will also win “Free Cane’s for a Year.”

Employee benefits include medical and pharmacy coverage, life and pet insurance, a 401(k) with employer match, flexible scheduling, and weekly pay. Workers will also get education discounts, with chances for no-cost high school diplomas.
Cane’s also said it closes on all major holidays and even ends service early for certain nationally recognized events, like the Super Bowl.
