Raiders Share Latest Brock Bowers Injury Status After Struggling Vs. Chargers In Week 2

Bowers has faced a challenging start to the season in terms of health. Last week, he was held out of Wednesday and Thursday practices and was limited on Friday, eventually earning a questionable designation for the Raiders’ matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. Despite suiting up for that game, Bowers played 71 percent of the team’s snaps while wearing a knee brace, often appearing in distress on the field.

“Entering the week with a questionable tag after the Week 1 hit, I just wanted to take it day by day,” Bowers said following the game against the Chargers.

Week 2 Performance Against the Chargers

Despite his cautious approach, Bowers contributed in the Raiders’ 20-9 loss to Los Angeles. He caught 5-of-8 targets for 38 yards, though the injury limited his overall impact and fantasy football upside. Head coach Pete Carroll expressed optimism about Bowers’ ability to rebound in the coming weeks.

“He’s a key part of our offense,” Carroll said. “We’re monitoring him closely, but we expect him to get back to full strength soon.”

Looking Ahead

While Bowers remains a focal point of the Raiders’ offense, his production may continue to be tempered by both the knee injury and broader offensive struggles. With a limited practice on Wednesday, the team will carefully manage his workload in preparation for the upcoming game.

As Bowers works toward full health, Raiders fans can anticipate gradual improvement over the next few matchups. If he can return to 100 percent, he remains a dynamic weapon for the Las Vegas offense.
