Racer Aeziah Divine To Return For UK Series Motorcycle racer Aeziah Divine will continue his international journey after re-signing for MLav Racing for another R&G British Talent Cup campaign. The teenager enjoyed an impressive debut season in the series, which runs alongside the Bennetts British Superbikes. It features top teenager riders from Scotland, Ireland, Canada, and the United States. “Last season was all about learning and adapting to the new team,” Divine said. “I’m grateful to MLav Racing for believing in me again. I’ve grown a lot as a rider throughout the 2025 season together and I will be working hard over the winter so I can push for strong results in 2026.” A MLav Racing statement said: “After a strong debut year with the team in 2025, Aeziah impressed with his progression, attitude, and determination. “Now, he’s back – with one clear goal: to score points in every round and unlock his full potential.” The R&G British Talent Cup serves as a stepping stone for young racers on the path towards MotoGP. “We made a difficult decision back in 2018 to leave the island in pursuit of opportunities abroad,” said Divine’s mother, Kristin. “We took a risk and left our property behind along with the security of friends and family, largely to support Aeziah to get onto a formal pathway to a professional career in his sport. “Building again from the ground up was hard, but times like these give us confidence that the sacrifices and risks were worth taking. “We couldn’t ask for a better team to have taken Aeziah under their wing – just a few years ago, we could only dream of being at the point that we are now.” Divine said he is appreciative of the long-term support of Bermuda-based sponsors, the generosity of individual Bermudian donors, and the growing support and interest from the wider community. He credits local programmes such as the Department of Sports and Recreation’s National Junior Athlete Sponsorship Programme and recently created charity focused on supporting athletes, Performance Pathways, as key initiatives that have helped him.
