The Harford County Health Department received confirmation from the on Wednesday, October 1 that a raccoon tested positive for the rabies virus.
Although the raccoon was found near the 200 block of East Jarrettsville Road in Forest Hill, it may have exposed other people and pets in the surrounding area, according to health officials.
