After getting unlucky guessing “stake” instead of SKATE I was left flummoxed by my final word.
I was certain that my last word ended L-I-D-E but with both the G and the S unavailable I entered each of my remaining letters until adding the E resulted in me uncovering an actual word. Not the most elegant of ways to complete a game of Quordle.
