This year’s Quad Cities Prayer Breakfast will be a tribute to Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated earlier this month during an event at a Utah university.
The event will feature as keynote speaker David Pautsch, who organizes the breakfast through Thy Kingdom Come Ministries and is running for the Republican nomination for Iowa’s 1st Congressional District.
Admission for the event is free with registration at www.graceheals.us.
A breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. with the program starting at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the RiverCenter, 136 E Third St., Davenport.
According to a news release, this year’s Prayer Breakfast will “reflect on the profound impact of Charlie Kirk’s life and ministry, especially in light of the global outpouring of grief following his tragic passing.”
“Charlie’s death has sparked a greater desire for spiritual renewal and transformation than any single incident in our country’s history,” Pautsch said in the release.
