Doha, September 27 (QNA) – The State of Qatar will be the guest of honor at the upcoming Baku International Book Fair in Azerbaijan, which will take place from October 1 to 7.

Announcing the participation today, the Ministry of Culture stated that it comes within the framework of its commitment to highlighting Qatar’s cultural presence and introducing local intellectual and literary production to a diverse international audience.

Qatar’s participation also reflects the country’s efforts to support the Arab and international cultural scene, enhance cooperation with cultural institutions and publishing houses, and present a comprehensive image of Qatar as an incubator of creativity and a center of cultural and civilizational diversity. It also underlines the Ministry’s commitment to promoting cultural exchange and openness to global experiences, which contributes to building bridges of communication between creators, publishers, and those interested in cultural affairs.
