Doha, November 05 (QNA) - First Vice-Chairman of Qatar Chamber Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar Al Kuwari held two separate meetings with HE Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the State of Qatar Mohammed Jaafar Al Sadr, and HE Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the State of Qatar Mohamed Mohamed Abdullah Bebane.The meeting with the Iraqi Ambassador touched on the possibility of establishing a joint Qatari Iraqi Business Council between Qatar Chamber and the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the Qatari and Iraqi business communities.It also discussed organising a Qatari Iraqi Business Forum that would bring together business owners and investors from both sides to explore cooperation and partnership opportunities across various sectors, and to gain insights into the investment climate and available opportunities in both countries.In his remarks, Al Kuwari affirmed Qatar Chamber's keenness to enhance cooperation between business communities in both nations, noting that the Qatari market welcomes Iraqi products and investors interested in establishing projects in the State of Qatar.He also expressed the Chamber's readiness to support efforts aimed at forming the joint Qatari Iraqi Business Council, which would help expand prospects for trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.Meanwhile, the meeting with the Mauritanian Ambassador discussed ways to boost cooperation between Qatar and Mauritania, stimulate joint investments, and highlight Mauritania's openness to Qatari investments in promising sectors.Al Kuwari stressed that Qatari Mauritanian relations are witnessing steady growth and affirmed the Chamber's encouragement for Qatari businessmen to explore investment opportunities in Mauritania, particularly in promising sectors that enjoy government support and favorable investment legislation.
