K. Krishnaveni, mother of K. Lakshminarayanan, Puducherry Minister for Public Works and Tourism, passed away in a private hospital here due to age-related ailments. The Minister’s Office said she was admitted in a private hospital in Puducherry for the last few days. Last rites will be performed in her native village at Perunagar in Kancheepuram on Thursday morning. Chief Minister N. Rangasamy and other leaders conveyed their condolences to the Minister over phone.
