Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly among the star-studded guests at Kris Jenner’s blowout surprise birthday party. Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, were spotted outside the soirée on Saturday, November 8, according to photos published by The Daily Mail. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex held hands at the Beverly Hills, California, venue, each looking dapper in all-black ensembles. Harry sported a classic tuxedo, affixed with a poppy lapel pin in honor of the U.K.’s Remembrance Day, while Meghan donned a glamorous long-sleeve turtleneck gown and dramatic leg slit. Us Weekly confirmed earlier this week that Jenner’s children — she shares four kids with the late Robert Kardashian and two daughters with Caitlyn Jenner — were hosting a surprise gathering for her milestone 70th birthday. According to a source, the Kardashian-Jenner offspring chose a James Bond theme since “007” features the same numerals as Kris’ age. “HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY TO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN ON THE PLANET! There is no one more special in this whole world than you!” daughter Kim Kardashian wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, November 5. “You are so blessed with the most amazing family surrounded by so much love! You truly are super woman and have been the absolute best role model just in the way you lead and live your life with such grace and compassion and joy! I Wannabe just like you when I grow up and have always said this my whole life! I love you so much mom!” Neither the Kardashian-Jenners nor Harry and Meghan have further documented Kris’ blowout birthday. It’s also not known how the royal couple knows the Kardashians stars, though both Kris and daughter Khloé Kardashian have received publicity packages from Meghan’s As Ever lifestyle brand. Meghan launched As Ever earlier this year after she and Harry relocated from England to California in 2020 upon stepping down from their duties as senior working royals. “I had secured As Ever as a name in 2022, and then as everything started to evolve last year, and bringing in a partner the size that it was, it was just so interesting,” Meghan recalled on an April episode of her “Confessions of a Female Founder” podcast. “I said, ‘I like [the brand’s initial name] American Riviera as an umbrella,’ and then be able to have verticals beneath it. And maybe have the ‘Orchard’ really small. But when that’s not feasible … suddenly it became this word salad. I didn’t love that so much.” She continued, “I was like, ‘OK, let’s go back to the thing that I’ve always loved. Let’s use the name that I protected for a reason that had sort of been under wraps,’ and then we were able to focus in the quiet and put our heads down and build on something that no one was sniffing around to even see about. It was really just helpful to have that quiet period.” According to Meghan, she changed the brand’s name back to As Ever after signing a deal with Netflix. “Netflix came on, not just as my partner in the show, but as my partner in my business. which was huge,” the Suits alum explained, referring to her two-season With Love, Meghan docuseries. “I thought about it, and I’ve been waiting for a moment to share a name that I had secured in 2022, and this is the moment, and it’s called As Ever.”
